Background
As a child, I used to assign myself reports to turn in to the surprise of my school teachers. The thesaurus and dictionary are my favorite books; daily they remind me that power of the right word in the right story can make an amazing difference in our lives and in our communities. That interest in words has been with me ever since—through college as an English major through my first journalism job at PC World magazine through three decades of building a consulting firm where I wrote and edited copy for all kinds of collaterals and projects, programs and policies. Now, I’m writing stories to connect us to our world and each other.
