The Why and How
My aim is to connect us to our world and each other to discover, remember, and know what we have in common. It's a counterpoint to division and isolation and a way to increase our appreciation of each other and this world. Knowing what's in common lets us see our world with more perspectives and take care of it more wisely. That's true whether it’s a workplace, a neighborhood, the air we breathe, the water we depend on, or the way we advance resilience and just recoveries from our climate crisis. Commonality and appreciation are my ways of helping us know and care for this ever-changing world of ours.

So how do we discover and build on what we have in common especially when conflict is high and much is at stake? My way is through a combination of storytelling, engagement, and conflict resolution because they are simply in each other's DNA:
Stories are how we impart the wisdom about this world to help each other navigate it
Engagement is how we share our stories and knowledge to build a shared story together
Conflict Resolution is the new reality that emerges when people have a shared story
